The rolling foothills, views of the Sierra Mountains, access to Folsom Lake, and proximity to Sacramento all make the area a highly desirable place to live and work.

The District receives less federal and state funding than other districts in California; however ESF and other groups raise over $350,000 per year for enrichment Programs.
